World-class professional bridge player and teacher.
Also arranging world class travel.
Zach grew up in a bridge-playing family in Boston and picked up the game around age eight, filling in for his mother's local duplicate game. He became a Life Master by 12, and at 17 won his first national title alongside his brother Adam. By 22, he broke the ACBL record to become the youngest Grand Life Master in the league's history.
Since then, Zach has won four World Junior Championships, along with eight North American Bridge Championship (NABC) titles. He was named ACBL Player of the Year for 2022, and has appeared on the cover of the ACBL Bulletin twice. A graduate of Tufts University, he was featured in the bridge documentary Double Dummy, and now plays and teaches full time โ including guest lectures at colleges and bridge clubs around the country.
With a decade of experience traveling the world as a sponsored bridge professional, Zach has developed a deep understanding of travel and the travel industry. In the beginning of 2026, he became a professional travel agent. Utilizing that same discipline โ planning ahead, looking at all the angles, and minimizing details left to chance โ is what he brings to planning travel as an advisor with Fora Travel.
